Who we are

Copperline Water (“we,” “us”) sells whole-home water treatment systems and drinking-water equipment to homeowners in Davis County, Utah. Installation work is performed by independently licensed and insured Utah plumbing contractors. We are not a plumbing contractor.

This policy describes information we collect through copperlinewater.com, our quote and contact forms, and the calls and text messages that follow up on them.

Information we collect

When you request a quote or send us a message, we may collect:

• Name, mobile number, email address (email is optional on the quote form), and ZIP code
• Answers you give about your home and water (for example water source, own or rent, timing, and how you heard about us)
• Technical and marketing attribution that helps us know how you found us (for example the page you landed on, referrer, and standard ad click IDs such as utm parameters or fbclid), stored briefly in your browser and sent with the quote request
• Messages you send us through the contact form, by text, or by phone, and notes from our follow-up
• Usage data from Google Analytics, which uses cookies to count visits and see which pages are used. It does not receive your quote answers

How we use information

We use this information to:

• Respond to your quote request and provide a price for your home
• Call or text you about your request, your quote, scheduling, installation day, and service reminders
• Coordinate with the licensed plumber who will perform the install at your home
• Improve our website, ads, and service area coverage
• Comply with the law

Calls and text messages

If you give us your number on a form, we may call or text you from our own phones to follow up on your request. We do not send automated or marketing texts. Tell us, or reply STOP, and we will not text you again.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your phone number with anyone for their own marketing.

We may share information with:

• Independently licensed plumbers, only as needed to schedule and complete an installation at your home
• Service providers that help us run the business (for example hosting, form intake, and website analytics). They may process data only on our instructions
• Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety, and security

How long we keep information

We keep quote and customer records as long as we need them to serve you, run the business, and meet legal and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep; see “Your choices” below.

Your choices

You can:

• Ask us to call instead of text, or to stop contacting you
• Send us a message through the contact form to correct your information, ask what we hold, or request deletion where we are not required to keep it

Children

Our site and services are for homeowners and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site or our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
